Stupid Spending Test
Do you have wise spending habits? Or do you give your money up far too easily? Take this simple true and false spending test. Answer yes or no to each question, and then total the number of each response. Be honest. Good luck failing the test.
You believe that you should pay yourself first
You always review your bank statements
The majority of your grocery store items are fresh fruits and veggies
You pay for life insurance, but you are less than 30 years old and you don’t have a spouse or child
You bring your lunch to work nearly every day
You have both a cell phone and landline at home
You commute to work by bus even though you’d rather drive
You rush to purchase the latest computer technology, including cell phone, kitchen gadget or appliance
You saw all the new movie releases BEFORE they came out on DVD
You take your dog to a pet sitter, groomer, or hire a dog walker (if you don’t have a dog would you do these things)
You save all your receipts and reconcile them with your checkbook or online bank transactions
Your bottled water is water from your kitchen faucet or the cooler at work
You lease your car (or would consider it)
You get your hair cut or fixed every two weeks.
You have your clothes dry cleaned for convenience
You frequently put coffee drinks on your credit card or pay for them with your debit card.
If you have more no’s then yes’s, Congratulations. You’ve failed the test and you are not a stupid spender.

I’m confused… I had 9 yes, 7 no, so apparently I’m a stupid spender. While I’m sure my wife would agree
, i don’t see how things like paying yourself first, bringing lunch to work, leasing a car or reviewing and reconciling bank statements are hallmarks of stupid spending. Care to elaborate a little? -

You are right, i switched it around the wrong way. It should be if you have more yes’s than you are not a stupid spender
